What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published June 9, 2008 at 2:15 p.m.

This morning, I made nine predictions about the 3G iPhone that was announced by Apple's Steve Jobs today.

Looks like I went 6 for 9, which, in baseball would be a gaudy .667 batting average. But in technology predictions, it's not bad either.

Here is what I predicted, and if I got it right:

  • 3G support: Yes
  • GPS: Yes
  • Thinner, more plastic design: Yes (on the edges, anyway)
  • One color: No (16 GB model is available in white)
  • Same-sized screen: Yes
  • Front-facing video camera for iChat: No (just a rumor, apparently)
  • 8 and 16 GB models: Yes
  • $199 subsidized pricing: Yes
  • Available now: No (Launching on July 11)

As a punishment for not going 9 for 9, I guess I'll wait until July 11 to get the new iPhone. And that video camera would've been cool. Maybe next year.
