House of Harley-Davidson announced today the expansion of its territory with the purchase of Racine Harley-Davidson.

This purchase marks the third House of Harley-Davidson dealership location, joining the flagship store at 6221 W. Layton Ave. and a satellite retail location in Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport. The new spot is at 1155 Oakes Rd. in Mount Pleasant.

"We are proud to expand our territory and we see tremendous growth opportunities in Racine County. We look forward to servicing the customers who love the Harley-Davidson brand in southeastern Wisconsin," said Jeff Binkert, president of House of Harley-Davidson. "We congratulate the former owner, Mark Ulinski, on his retirement and we can’t wait to welcome our customers to House of Harley-Davidson, Racine and to our exceptional brand of service."

Since Binkert and his team purchased House of Harley-Davidson in August 2015, the dealership has expanded its community presence by hosting dozens of charitable events, including those that honor veterans, law enforcement and public safety professionals, children’s charities and animal welfare organizations.

And, of course, it’s where I learned how to ride a motorcycle.

This July, I participated in the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Riding Academy, a learn-to-ride program for new riders. House of Harley will continue the program in its Racine location.

House of Harley-Davidson is the official motorcycle seller and service provider for southeast Wisconsin’s law enforcement agencies, including police departments from the city of Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Franklin, Brown Deer, Greendale, South Milwaukee; sheriff’s offices from Milwaukee County, Walworth County, Jefferson County; and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

"We are proud to be a part of the Harley-Davidson legacy in Wisconsin and we look forward to bringing a world-class experience to our new customers in Racine County, especially as the excitement builds for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company 115th Anniversary celebration in 2018," Binkert said.
