Apparently, "Lash Bars" are hot in Tokyo, and this fall, the trend makes its way to Third Ward beauty boutique, Blush.

Blush is already home to a Brow Bar specializing in eyebrow care, and the shop's new Lash Bar features eyelash applications ranging from natural to exotic.

"False eyelash application is ideal for a client who has a special event that requires fabulous lashes, such as a party, wedding or fashion show. It's also great for the client who isn't interested in the upkeep of eyelash extensions," says Sarah Brucker, owner of Blush.

Eyelash prices range from $15 to $65 and include an eye color application. The lash selection consists of the traditional black set to brightly colored feathers, crystals and glitter lashes.

Fast-Lash enhancement, a product used in conjunction with mascara, is also available. Fast-Lash is a white synthetic fiber applied to wet mascara that acts like false lashes in a bottle.

"We believe that it's extremely important to stay current with the latest in beauty trends. By creating our own Lash Bar we are giving Milwaukee an opportunity to try this ultra-chic and eye-opening experience," Brucker says.
