According to a letter to customers on the door of Lena's Food Market, 709 E. Capitol Dr., the grocery store will close on July 25. Four other locations will remain open: 2322 W. Oak St., 4623 W. Burleigh St., 3334 N. Holton St., 4030 N. Teutonia Ave. and 4061 N. 54th St.
Bezelee and Lena Martin started the company almost 40 years ago when they opened their first market on West North Avenue. Today, a second generation of Martins operates the family business.
