Mazen Muna, owner of Milwaukee's four Dogg Haus locations and one Burger Joint, is shifting gears a bit with his latest endeavor. The young entrepreneur recently took ownership of Eastbay Hand Car Wash, 1510 N. Van Buren St., and after taking a few weeks to renovate and remodel, plans to reopen as Mazen's Hand Car Wash.
"I will be remodeling the waiting area to include comfortable couches, a plasma TV, complimentary beverages and WiFi. The space is going to be recognizably different, and so will the quality and service. This place has potential, and it is a diamond in the rough," he says.
His offered services include glass repair, full detail jobs, express hand waxes, interior restoration, carpet shampooing, exterior buffing, as well as auto pick-up and delivery. Eventually, he'll feature mobile detailing for cars, boats and motorcycles off site.
It sounds like something of a stretch for a restaurateur, but Muna says his six years of experience detailing cars at Thrifty Car Rental and Alamo Car will serve him well in this venture.
"Cars are my hobby, and this is just a small break from the norm. Also, it is definitely a much needed service, to be able to simply get a car wash, for the downtown market."
Mazen's Hand Car Wash will be open daily.

This is great. I typically go to Walker's Point to the Sanfilippo place, but it's too far. Yes, I live on Mlwaukee's Fashionable East Side.

This is just long overdue. The car wash facilities in the greater mke area are TERRIBLE. I'm excited for this one though, it sure sounds promissing.
