Oilerie USA, Inc., based in Fish Creek, announced that the first franchise location will open in Brookfield in autumn. Jacqueline M. Zach Enterprises LLC, a Milwaukee-based company, purchased the franchise and will operate the shop.
The shop carries extra virgin olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars and more than 100 other products including spices and snacks, pastes, pestos, pasta and more. Oilerie's flagship location, Oilerie Fish Creek, opened five years ago and is now the largest single-store retailer of extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegars.
"For years customers have made Fish Creek a destination for tasting and purchasing the freshest and most unique olive oils direct from Italy," said Oilerie USA, Inc. owner Curt Campbell. "It's thrilling to have our special Door County experience blossom into so much more."
A similar store, Oil & Vinegar, closed recently after a few years in business at Mayfair Mall.
