Calling all shoe addicts. Downtown's latest fancy footwear addition, Red Heel, is set to open this Friday, Aug. 3 at 522 N. Water St.
Co-owner Clai Green -- who also co-owns next door neighbor Fred Boutique -- says the women's shoe shop carries everything from sassy flat to sexy heels, priced between $36 and $150. And, as at Fred, shoppers are welcome to sip wine as they browse.
The space, he says, is "fabulous," with stark white walls housing white leather couches and plush red carpets.
Red Heel is open Monday through Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m.
