It’s been almost three years since Eric "Shake" James and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, one of the founding three members of Run-DMC., opened Clicks, 1916 E. Capitol Dr.

On Thursday, Feb. 15, James will open his second shop, called Sneex, with his sons, Kameron and Jason, in the former ZipCar space at 180 N. Broadway.

Whereas Clicks sells primarily limited-edition Adidas shoes and clothing, the new Sneex shop will feature Adidas as well as other brands including Nike, Air Jordan, Puma, Reebok, Bape and more for men, women and children.

Sneex will also focus on community, inviting customers to hang out in the store and play Xbox games on a 100-foot screen.

"We’ll have quite a few celebrities come through Sneex," says James. "In that way, it will be very similar to Clicks, but it will also be something different."

Sneex’s hours will be Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m.
