Will you keep swigging from your Sigg? |

In August, Sigg -- a Swiss manufacturer of water bottles -- announced it would exchange bottles purchased before August 2008 because the liners contained Bisphenol A (BPA.)
Although you have to pay for the incoming shipping, you can send your bottle back to Sigg and get a replacement bottle with a BPA-free liner. To get a replacement, you must go here to download a shipping label and return form, and the file must be made by Oct. 31, 2009.
Will you do this? Is it too much of a hassle? Do you think you're even at risk drinking from a bottle with an old liner? Sound-off about your thoughts on your Sigg water bottle.
Yes, I'm sending it back. I paid at least $20 for my Sigg water bottle so, yes, I am sending it back for a new one. I am slightly annoyed at the company for choosing such a liner in the first place, but really, I love my Sigg and just want a safe bottle.
Nah, not sending it back. Every week, there's a new warning on another product and I can't keep up. Plus, there is only a slight trace of SBO in the liner, so I'm not worried.

I got my Sigg at Whole Foods, but no longer have the receipt.... did you need to show proof of purchase to exchange it?

Of the two bottles I took back, one was purchased at WF and the other was not. The WF customer service desk did not ask.

Took mine back to Whole Foods when I saw the story here. No cost to exchange for a new one there.
