Bob Uecker and Usinger's have teamed up to make wishes come true with Mr. Baseball's Brats Benefit and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

In Milwaukee, nothing says baseball like Bob Uecker and nothing says bratwurst like Usinger's. Uecker has spent plenty of time savoring brats throughout his career as a professional baseball player and broadcaster.

His taste and experiences, along with help from Usinger's, have helped Uecker create a delicious brat to enjoy at all events. Proceeds from the sale of Mr. Baseball's Brats benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

The brats are made with fresh, pure, lean pork and coarsely ground and seasoned with natural spices. Like all Usinger's sausages, there is no MSG in the brats. Mr. Baseball's Brats are available in one-pound packages, five links per pound. They can be purchased at Usinger's downtown location, 1030 N. Old Third World St., and will soon be at your favorite grocer.

"What could be better than Mr. Baseball's Brats on the grill when you're in the backyard this summer, listening to baseball on 620 WTMJ radio? Be sure to buy enough, because when your neighbors see what you're grilling, they will get up, get up and get over to your house," said Uecker.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening illnesses in order to enrich the human experience. They are the largest wishgranting charity in the world with 80 chapters in the U.S. alone.

Since the opening of the Wisconsin branch in 1984, more than 1,700 families statewide can vouch for the power of a wish.
