For this edition of the OnMilwaukee #WeWant we share some of our favorite hotel services or items that #WeWant in our own homes.

Need it: home housekeeping

More than anything, I wish I could have "hotel housekeeping" in my home. The older I get, the less time I want to spend cleaning and yet I don't want to live in squalor. I often fantasize, yes fantasize, about hiring a cleaning person, but in the end, my working class roots get the best of me and I grab the toilet bowl brush and just do it myself. – Molly Snyder

Want it: white fuzzy bathrobe

Besides being super comfy, whenever I put on a post-shower bathrobe in a hotel and just lounge around in it for the next two hours, I feel like a celebrity who might be racily photographed through the window by scandal-seeking paparazzi looking for an exposed candid shot. For some reason, I want that. The thing I do not want: That tiny little mirror for makeup or shaving, because I invariably look too closely at my face and then I see stuff I don't want to see and then I feel bad about myself and then I don't want to leave the hotel room and then I stay in all night and order too much room service and watch a terrible Kevin James movie, which usually makes me feel a little better actually. – Jimmy Carlton

Use them: Noble Excellence MicroCotton bath towels

Often one of the best things about a great hotel is the towels. They're big, they're heavy duty and they're insanely insanely soft and you just want to wrap yourself in one and stay there forever. These 100% long-staple cotton bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths (the bath towels retail at about $34) are just like the ones you find in ace hotels – super soft and super absorbent – and much less expensive than buying towels from the hotel itself (did you know you could do that?) Available in four colors – black platinum, apricot and sable – so your friends won't be as likely to think you nabbed them illicitly on your last vacation. Pamper yourself. – Bobby Tanzilo

Drink it: Iron Horse Hotel flavored water

I recently stayed at The Iron Horse Hotel and became addicted to the homemade flavored water in the lobby. While I loved the Colectivo that was available all morning, I could not wait for them to bring out the huge vat of fruity, herby water. I would refill all afternoon and evening with my own bottle. I so wish someone would make me one of these everyday at home – or maybe at work? Come on, OnMilwaukee, get with it! – Carolynn Buser
