Welcome to #WeWant, a weekly selection of the stuff OnMilwaukee.com editors and staffers love.

Work It: Jarvis Standing Desk
Let's face it - writer, programmer, salesperson, accountant, executive, designer, we all sit and type for a living. Getting up now and then and moving around is good, but standing and working for at least part of the day is better. There's no doubt I think better on my feet, which is why I can be seen pacing the office or walking around Downtown when I'm particularly stuck on a problem. The development department goes for a walk up the staircase daily to discuss current projects and ideas for new ones. Why not have that capability all day? Standing desks are popular, but standing in one place all day has it's own problems. Assuming a treadmill desk is out of the question (Andy? Jeff?), I'd rather have a convertible standing desk. The Jarvis from ErgoDepot is affordable (as these go anyway) and has everything I need – a large workspace, push-button height adjustment, cable management, and an optional saddle chair or ergonomic sitting. I'll take it in cherry, please. – Nick Barth

Mix with it: KitchenAid Artisan Series Stand Mixer
I made a crap-ton of cookies this past weekend for the upcoming holiday week. I really enjoy the process of it – and the only thing that would make it more enjoyable for me would be the addition of a KitchenAid Stand Mixer to help with all that cookie batter stirring. While this is certainly an investment piece for my kitchen, I deem it a worthy one. Or maybe Santa will bring me one? One can hope. – Carolynn Buser

Wear 'em: MuckBoots Men's Arctic Commuter Boot
Dear Santa, I know I live in Wisconsin but oddly I don't own a pair of snow boots. Why, not sure. Wearing boots just haven't been my thing. But after last winter, it's time. And, many have sung the praises of the Muck Boot Company. Easy on, easy off, water proof and warm. Not a fashion statement, but not ugly. So, please have your elves deliver a pair of black MuckBoots Men's Arctic Commuter Boots to my home. Thank you. – Jeff Sherman

Stick it: In Car Holder Sticky Pad Gadget Mat
OK, so this is kind of weird. And, perhaps "tacky" (hey-yo!) but in my current vehicle (a 2008) there aren't a lot of convenient places to stick my phone where it can be easily accessible. Now, I've gone back and forth on this type of thing – like, do I really want this odd looking sticky pad on my limited dash space – but I think there are a couple spots where this could fit. So, count this under the most odd #WEWANT of 2014, but hey, it could solve a problem. – Jim Owczarski

Listen to it: Cream – vinyl box set (Back to Black/Universal)
There is no more fitting tribute to the late great Jack Bruce – who passed away in October – than this handsome reissue of all of his band Cream's LP releases on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl. The seven-LP set includes "Fresh Cream," "Disraeli Gears," the 2LP "Wheels of Fire," "Goodbye Cream" and both volumes of "Live Cream," in their original sleeves, along with a code to download MP3s of the lot of them. Of course, it seems absurd to call Cream "Jack Bruce's band," when it also included guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker. The band was, and remains, recognized as a major all-star agglomeration that was extremely influential on the music that followed. All of the evidence required to make that claim is packaged here in a heavy duty slipcase. Perfect for the classic rock and vinyl lovers in your life.  – Bobby Tanzilo

Use it: FroliCat BOLT
Sure, my cat is adorable and snuggly – but she can also be the cutest pest. FroliCat BOLT to the rescue? I was intrigued when I first saw the interactive laser toy that is automated from petsafe.com. Simply turn it on and hold it for your kitty kitty to chase the random patterns across the floor, up the walls, and over furniture – or set it down on a level surface for hands-free fun. Yes, this is about $20 more than your standard laser pointer but it may be worth it. Or, you'll feel guilty like I do – but will still use it. – Carolynn Buser
