Here are just a few things #WeWant for our patios this week.

Hang them: Brightech Ambiance string lights

I've finally have a brand new, freshly poured patio in my backyard. I also recently invested in a nice patio set. Now all I need are the finishing touches – like maybe some party lights to glitz things up. The thing is, I want something that will last more than one season. So currently I'm eyeing up these guys. They're pretty and durable looking. And best of all, they'll transform my yard into the hipster haven I've always wanted. *wink* - Lori Fredrich

Get him: Marquette garden gnome

I’m not a yard expert and don’t spend any of my "free" time working in our yard. Sorry, just not my thing. I do, though, admire and respect those that do and, of course, love the team at The Green Team that helps keep our back yard green and growing. There is, though, one thing I want to lurk in our bushes near our modest patio – a Marquette gnome.  Yep, we are Marquette and my backyard needs this now. They, of course, come dressed in other school colors too.  - Jeff Sherman

Light it up: d.light LED Solar Lantern

Having a solid outdoor light is never a bad idea and when it comes to patio entertaining, you’ll know you never need to search for batteries when the sun sets on your deck. I particularly like the d.light solar lantern, because it’s bright, light, hangable and socially responsible, with distribution aimed at the developing world. Whether you take it camping or keep it for emergencies (including backyard barbecue emergencies), a single charge will hold for up to a year. You’ll get four hours of light on high, and eight hours on low. Right now, it’s selling for about $22 on Amazon, but keep an eye out for sales – I got mine for less than $14. - Andy Tarnoff

Wear it: Hello Kitty Apron

I don’t always wear an apron when I cook but I always wear one when I grill. I have quite a collection, from ‘50s housewife to rocker skulls, but I really think I need this Hello Kitty apron to add to the collection. I first became smitten with the cute mouthless creature in the ‘80s when the Grand Avenue Mall housed a Hello Kitty store called San Rio Gift Gate and now my kids like her too. Yeah, this apron is meant to be mine. I can already see the barbecue stains splattered on it. - Molly Snyder

Plant in it: Cedar raised planter

I have a huge outdoor patio on my second-level flat, but no actual ground to plant in. Many think planting is only done in spring – but I can't wait to get some fall goodies into this. Veggies, herbs and flowers will be planted in this Cedar Wood Raised Planter Box so I can pick and use them till the snow flies. - Carolynn Buser

Sip it: Fizz56 Brachetto

As summer winds down, every moment spent on the patio oughta be a celebration and what better way to celebrate than by popping the cork on a bottle of bubbly? Piemonte's eye-catching red spumante will get your attention and that of your guests, not only for its ruby red color and pinkish foam, but for its red berry sweetness and its fizzy crispness. The light body makes it a perfect warm weather quaff, though I also enjoy it on New Year's Eve when I want to celebrate a Piedmont-style Capodanno. Retails for about $20. http://www.fizz56.com/ - Bobby Tanzilo
