Spray it: Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo
While I am still in shock summer is actually almost here, we did have two days near 80 degrees this week, miracles happen! Which means heat, humidity and sweat can take a toll on my hair. My new miracle in a can is Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo. I've tried plenty of dry shampoos, and more take the shine out of your hair and some can have a weird smell. I tried out this dry shampoo and was instantly in love. While adding volume and keeping my shine, it soaked up all the oil and kept my style. Hallelujah. -- Carolynn Buser
Hang it: Walhub
Sometimes the most simple inventions are the most brilliant. Forgetting where we place our keys is a universal problem, but the Walhub solves the problem simply and elegantly. All it is a switch plate with two built-in storage hooks in the same white, molded plastic. Different versions mean they are compatible with most light switches, and you can place the hooks on either side and easily hang your keys, light jackets or other trinkets. All you need is a screwdriver. Installation takes about 30 seconds. Lost keys? Found. -- Andy Tarnoff
Drink it: Cune Crianza 2010
Further proof that you don't need to pay a lot for a good, satisfying, drinkable red wine, this blend -- 80 percent tempranillo, balanced with equal parts garnacha tinta and mazuelo -- from Spain's Rioja region is an explosion of cherries and plums with a good acidic balance and a touch of spice. Barrel aging adds some oak, too. While this bright colored and refreshing wine carries a list price of $14.99, you can find it pretty easily online for $10 or even less. -- Bobby Tanzilo
Hang it: Squirrel-proof birdfeeder
I have a serious squirrel problem in my yard. Those jerks have eaten everything from my garden goodies to my grill cover to my kids' chalk. When I realized there was a such a thing as a bird feeder constructed with the intention to "bust" squirrels, I started to think maybe, just maybe, I could actually invite some winged creatures into my yard. This feeder is a little pricey, but it has a lifetime warranty, looks really easy to clean, holds three quarts of seed (!) and comes with a cardinal ring. Take that terrorist squirrels. -- Molly Snyder
