So, you think it's hard to get your hands on Brewers playoff tickets?
Try picking up one of those nifty Wild Card Locker Room Caps.
The hats that Brewers players wore during their champagne celebration have become almost as scarce as tickets for the first-round series against the Phillies.
The hats went on sale at the FanZone store inside the ballpark Sunday afternoon and sold out almost immediately. At this point, they are fetching between $75 and $100 apiece on eBay.
Jill Aronoff, the director of merchandise branding for the Brewers, doesn't expect any more locker room caps to hit the store.
"While we do not have any more Wild Card Locker Room Caps, nor are we going to receive any additional inventory on those caps, we do have two other "Wild Card" and postseason caps that are pretty cool," Aronoff said in an e-mail to OnMilwaukee.com.
"They are flying off the shelves as well, but we do have additional inventory being delivered throughout the week."
Aronoff said sales have been brisk. Business has been steady at the FanZone, which is located at the Hot Corner near the Friday's Front Row Grill.
"Fans are really excited about the postseason merchandise and are gearing up for the games," she said. "The 24-hour sale (Sunday into Monday) was a huge success from a fan standpoint and for the Brewers. Fans really enjoyed the hourly events and got a lot of their postseason shopping accomplished."
Though other local retailers have Brewers merchandise, Aronoff stressed that the FanZone store carries the best selection and receives priority on shipments from vendors.
Perhaps fans will be able to buy a Division Series champion hat or NLCS hat in a the coming weeks.

We were finally able to find the hats at Grand Avenue...since nobody shops there anymore.

$100 bucks? I guess I can take my kidney off eBay and put the hat on instead. I will hold off for the World Series Pennant to pin to my wall matching my '82.
