More show choir and less barbershop quartet, NBC’s "The Sing Off" has been bringing the best of competitive a cappella to TV. Tapping into some of the same audience that makes "Glee" on Fox a success, "The Sing Off" allows fans of singing and dance to come together to experience memorable arrangements.

It can always be fun to see someone from TV to perform live, in-person.

For the second year, many of the groups from the TV show will go out on the national "The Sing-Off Live! Tour." Already booked are VoicePlay from season four and Street Corner Symphony from season two.

"A cappella is at its very best when experienced in person, which is why I'm thrilled to be working with The Sing-Off Live! Tour once again, bringing some of the world's greatest groups to theaters around the country," said musical director Deke Sharon.

The March 28 show at the Riverside is one of 55 stops the TV show tour will make in 2015. In addition to headlining talent, each concert will feature local a cappella groups to open the show, allowing fans of the genre the chance to discover top local talent as well.

The local acts have yet to be announced.

The show promises to, "offer the ultimate a cappella experience, giving fans of the show a unique opportunity to see their favorite groups perform live, and fans of a cappella music an incredible evening of some of the country’s top talent."

One of the singing groups will be from the special two-hour "The Sing Off" special that airs on Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

"People will not believe their ears when they hear our Sing-Off stars, and we love introducing audiences to their own fantastic local groups," said Sharon, who works as arranger, consultant and producer on "The Sing-Off," and was the musical director and arranger for the films "Pitch Perfect" and the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 2."

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show on March 28 will go on sale starting Friday at The Pabst and The Riverside Box Offices.

ALSO ON TOUR: Keo Motsepe’s fans will have the opportunity to see him make his debut on "Dancing with the Stars: Live!" tour stage across the U.S.

Motesepe is the first South African pro dancer on the ABC show,  and will join the other cast members, Alfonso Ribeiro, Kym Johnson, Sasha Farber, Mark Ballas, Whitney Carson, Emma Slater and Valentin Chmerkovskiy in the official 90-minute live show, when it comes to The Riverside on Jan. 22

The 8 p.m. show will treat, "audiences to exciting and romantic performances. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dancers will choreograph brand new never-before-seen numbers and re-create some of the show’s most memorable moments. As one of the pro dancers on tour, Keo will be able to show off his dancing skills daily on stage during the tour."

Tickets are on sale at dwtstour.com.

"It's exciting to jump from behind the TV screen into a live audience of dedicated DWTS fans," Motesepe said.

"I hope the magic of experiencing dance live with such a talented cast will match audience expectations."
