What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published Oct. 26, 2009 at 7:05 p.m.

Milwaukee's Danny Gokey, who finished third in this year's run of Fox's "American Idol," returns home Saturday to sing the national anthem at the Milwaukee Bucks home opener at the Bradley Center.

In addition to singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the start of the Bucks-Detroit Pistons game that starts at 7:30 p.m., he'll perform at halftime. Tickets to the game are still available.

The "Idol" tour wrapped up in September, and Gokey is working on his first album. His first single is due out next month, and the album should be out in 2010.

Home opener this Saturday...tickets still available....that pretty much sums up the interest in the Milwaukee Bucks. The Buck's organization has got to do more in and for the community....play good basketball.....do some fan appreciation, free or cheap sets nights and get the players to warm up to the fans and potential fans....(yes...I live in a dream world)

I am sick jealous of all the lucky people that will get to attend that Bucks game and hear Danny live. I'll be stuck here in Texas so just hoping his singing is televised!
