Donald Driver understands what it takes to compete, either on the football field or the dance floor.

"It is the end of the second quarter," the Green Bay Packers receiver said last week after performing on "Dancing With The Stars" and making it halfway through the season without being eliminated. "Now we have to get ready for the third ..."

On Monday night, Driver had to perform the foxtrot and take part in the group cha-cha as part of the show's Motown night.

"I'm looking forward to not seeing Donald in the bottom two at the results show," WISN-TV Ch. 12's Stephanie Sutton said on a phone call this week from Hollywood. "It's been awesome. This assignment is a dream come true, combining two of my favorite loves – sports and entertainment."

This is Sutton's second trip out to California to cover Driver on the show.

"I knew after watching him dance on the first night that we would be coming back out here," Sutton said, pointing out that ABC officials told her that based on Driver's first performance that he would make it pretty far in the show.

"This is kind of a marathon," Sutton said about Driver, who may be used to a different workout schedule than what he has been doing for the show. "There's no by-week. He's very fit, but this time at rehearsal he's much more tired."

For Driver, it has been a busy week, because he and his partner Peta Murgatroyd has to cover three dances.

"He is dancing the foxtrot and the group cha-cha, which he should do well in since that was the dance he did the first week," Sutton said, pointing out that should he fall in the bottom two, he will have to do another dance on the results show.

Luckily Driver, who is known as "Quickie" to his wife and friends, has had the tremendous support of Packers Nation to keep him in the competition.

Digital home: WITI-TV Ch. 6 launched a redesigned website for "Real Milwaukee," its midmorning show, late last week. The new page features a number of clips on news, health, community, food, travel and other topics.

TV in hand: According to a recent study by Viacom, more people are watching full-length TV shows on their tablets versus home computer. Calling the tablet the "second-screen alternative to TV," the research measured the behaviors of users as well as gained information from direct interviews.

The nominees: Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert lead the nominations for the CMT Music Awards. The nominees were presented on Monday morning on the "Today" show. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town and Thompson Square also received nominations. The program airs on June 6.
