Linda Marcus, 55, will represent Milwaukee on the 15th season of "Project Runway," the Lifetime reality TV series that will begin its new season Sept. 15.

Linda Marcus – the wife of Greg Marcus, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Milwaukee-based Marcus Corporation – owns and runs Linda Marcus Design, and has been selling and creating custom handmade handbags and clothing for years in and around Milwaukee. Her lines are available at several area boutiques and have been featured in national fashion shows.

Milwaukeeans Timothy Westbrook and Miranda Kay Levy competed in the 2013 season of "Runway," while Milwaukeean Erica Milde was one of the models in the 2009 edition of the show and Milwaukee native Clarissa Anderson was a model during the show's 2006 season.

Just last year, Chris March, a costume designer from New York and finalist on season four of "Project Runway" and "Project Runway All-Star Challenge," created exuberant, whimsical costumes for the Skylight Music Theatre.

Linda's husband Greg is active as on Twitter and – of course – in and around the community, so it should be fun to watch local and Marcus family reactions pour in as the shows air.

The complete line up for the new season of "Project Runway" was announced today at Entertainment Weekly. Chicago designer Ian Hargrove also will compete on the show.
