Milwaukee radio news veteran Jane Matenaer was named permanent co-anchor for "Wisconsin’s Morning News with Gene Mueller" on 620 WTMJ Radio. Pairing Mueller and Matenaer combines the experience of two broadcasters who have been waking up Milwaukee since the mid-1980s.

Matenaer has been on the air in Milwaukee since 1984. On WMYX, she co-hosted "Dan and Jane" and "Jane and Kidd." On WLDB, she co-hosted "Jane and C.V." until April 2015. Matenaer joined WTMJ in May 2015 and has recently been heard as a fill-in co-anchor on Wisconsin's Morning News.

"I’ve been doing morning radio in Milwaukee for a long time, and the opportunity to join Gene Mueller is truly an honor," says Matenaer. "Milwaukeeans have depended on WTMJ for many years to deliver the information they need – and have some fun along the way."

Wisconsin’s Morning News is Milwaukee’s top-rated morning information show, featuring news, weather, traffic, sports and interviews with the day's newsmakers.
