The hot and sunny summer might be keeping you from the indoor movie theater, but come fall, you won't want to miss a single flick.

The Milwaukee County Parks, in conjunction with the Milwaukee Film Festival, host a month long contest to get you tickets and pique your interest in the Milwaukee Film Festival running Sept. 24-Oct. 4.

"The Reel Deal: Summer Search with the Milwaukee Film and Milwaukee County Parks" encourages you to get out into one of five selected parks and start hunting for your Film Festival prize.

During the month of August, there will be 20 reels hidden in five parks. Located along trails and in trees, they'll be marked by a color to correspond to a specific prize.

A red reel gets you a pair of tickets, a silver reel means a six-pack of tickets, a gold reel boasts a 12-pack of tickets and the coveted black reel gives you a full festival pass for the 2009 event.

Participating parks include Veterans Park, Lake Park, Riverside Park, Brown Deer Park (Picnic Area 4 only) and Cathedral Square Park.

Each year, the Milwaukee Film Festival takes over the area's theaters with over 100 movies from around the world.
