I set the DVR to record  "Saturday Night Live" each week. I like to watch the monologue, and on occasion, "Weekend Update."

This week was Amy Schumer’s first time as host.  Her monologue was great. In fact, GQ called it "masterful."

Hoping that a hysterical monologue would mean a funny opening skit, I skipped through the first commercial block and watched the first skit.  I wouldn’t call it hysterical, but there was a "Milwaukee" mention.

You can see it here.

Milwaukee's had a few "SNL" pops in the past.  Including, of course, "Wayne's World" and last October, the NBA show featured an Appleton store in a skit.
