The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water St. , debuts its Peck Flicks series tonight at 7:30 p.m. with the original 1979 "The Muppet Movie."  Peck Flicks screens outdoors in the Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion, which features covered and comfortable seating.  

If you've only seen the newer "The Muppet Movie" or just miss this classic take the family Downtown tonight. One of the film's many songs, "The Rainbow Connection," was even nominated for an Oscar and has become a classic.  

Food and beverage will be available for purchase, or bring your own.  No alcohol carry ins, though.  Tonight's movie runs about 1 hour and 35 minutes.
