With a storied history dating back to the late 1800s, the Milwaukee Press Cub wanted a place to tell people about the organization and feature items gathered throughout the years.

A new website has been launched at milwaukeepressclub.org.

"Our new website is easier for our members to use to find valuable information on the Milwaukee Press Club, its benefits and the many events we hold," said Milwaukee Press Club President Mark Kass. "It also allows us to highlight the important history of the club and our impressive collections of signatures of presidents and princes, famous journalists and entertainers, athletes and other greats who have visited us."

The site includes a new job posting section where club members can post job openings.

"A list of the club’s historic collection of signatures that go back to the first autograph of heavyweight-boxing champion "Gentleman Jim," Corbett from 1898," is a part of the new site, according to a release.

The information also includes, the club’s annual Sacred Cat and Headliner Awards, a list of journalists inducted into the Club’s Hall of Fame or awarded the Knights of the Golden Quill or Knights of Bohemia recognition.

GOOD MORNING: WKKV-AM V100.7 welcomed the syndicated show "The Breakfast Club" to its studio last week. The top-rated morning show starring DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, marked its one-year anniversary on the station.

"Each morning, fans of "The Breakfast Club" tune in to hear interviews and conversations with celebrities and hip-hop artists, entertainment news, fresh music mixes, along with their signature blend of honesty and humor," a release reported.

Launched in December 2010, "The Breakfast Club" was named the No. 1 radio program in the nation by "The Source" magazine.

"WKKV was the first station in the country to broadcast ‘The Breakfast Club’ as a syndicated morning show, and we’re proud to welcome them on their first visit to Milwaukee," said WKKV program director Bailey Coleman.

"Since their debut on WKKV in August 2013, the ‘BC’ has changed the landscape of morning radio. With consistent, top ratings, they have infused a new excitement into the Milwaukee / Racine market and, of course, with WKKV listeners."
