TMZ is reporting that actor Windell Middlebrooks died today. The actor was most famous for his recurring ad campaign role as the Miller High Life Guy, a straight-talking delivery man who preached the values of the true "high life," rewarding the beer to those living right and revoking it in situations deemed unworthy.

In addition to his work in Miller's popular series of commercials, Middlebrooks also appeared on "The Bernie Mac Show," "ER" and "Entourage." The character actor eventually earned reoccurring roles on "Scrubs," "The Suite Life on Deck," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Body of Proof."

Middlebrooks was 36 years old.
