One of the tracks off of The Avett Brothers' 2007 breakthrough album "Emotionalism" is called "Will You Return?" It would seem the answer to that song's question is, "Yes, and often," as the folk band announced this morning that it will come back to Milwaukee next summer for a show at the BMO Harris Pavilion on Friday, June 10.

The banjo-happy band returns to the Pavilion, where it played during Summerfest in 2012. The Avetts would return again the following year to the Marcus Amphitheater to serve as co-headliners/openers for the reunited Violent Femmes and then once more this past July to claim a Summerfest headliner slot all to themselves.

The show shouldn't be the same old setlist as the band's past visits, either, as The Avett Brothers are rumored to have a new album – their first studio record since 2013's "Magpie and the Dandelion" – in tow early next year.

The show – produced by the Pabst Theater Group and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. – starts at 8 p.m. with gates opening an hour earlier. Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, Dec. 11 at noon. Ticket prices range from $35 for rear standing room to $49.50 for either reserved upper or lower bowl seats to $59.50 for lower bowl pit seats. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest box office – either in person or over the phone at (414) 273-2600 – at Walmart stores or through Ticketmaster's ticket centers, website or two phone lines (1-800-745-3000 for a live agent, 1-866-448-7849 for the automated line).
