Is Tina Fey a BoDeans fan? Probably not if she thinks they're from Chicago. |

I watched last week's "30 Rock" this weekend and it was another great episode that interestingly had a mention of one of the Milwaukee area's best-known bands, the BoDeans.
In what was essentially a big inside joke comparing the sitcom to another sitcom, "Night Court," while using a title worded like a "Friends" episode "The One with the Cast of "Night Court," the show laughed at itself while running with a gag character, Claire, played by Jennifer Aniston.
In one scene, Tina Fey's character, Liz, says to Jack (Alec Baldwin) that her friend Claire has brought down many powerful men in Chicago, "including Scottie Pippen and the drummer for the BoDeans."
You can watch the entire episode at the link below.
In other BoDeans news, the band has just released a new acoustic compilation called ""Live Acoustic." It features 13 songs recorded in Schamburg and Arlington Heights, Ill. in November 2008.
