Today, Summerfest officials announced another list of stage headlining entertainment for Summerfest 2009.

The Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard featuring the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Miller High Life has a diverse group of headliners.

June 25 -- Cory Chisel & The Wandering Sons, 8 p.m. Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, 10 p.m.

June 26 -- Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek, 10 p.m.

June 27  -- Felix Cavaliere, 4 p.m. Barenaked Ladies, 10 p.m.

June 28 -- Blues Traveler, 10 p.m.

June 29 -- Erin McCarley, 5 p.m. Needtobreathe, 6:30 p.m. Brett Dennen, 8 p.m. Mat Kearney, 10 p.m.

June 30 -- Carter Twins, 7:30 p.m. Phil Vassar, 9:30 p.m

July 1 -- Pete Francis of Dispatch, 3:30 p.m. Rusted Root, 10 p.m.

July 2
-- Matisyahu, 10 p.m.

July 3
-- The Roots, 10 p.m.

July 4 -- TBA

July 5 -- The Veronicas, 7:30 p.m. Kevin Rudolf, 9 p.m.

All performers and show times are subject to change.

In conjunction with its Big Backyard Stage at Summerfest, Briggs & Stratton hosted a "Battle of the Bands" site on MySpace, encouraging music enthusiasts from around the world to enter the competition. The winning band will perform live at Summerfest at the Big Backyard on Sunday, June 28.

More than 750 bands entered the contest, and the public can vote for their favorite band from May 16 to June 7 at briggsbattleofthebands.com.

Summerfest 2009 takes place June 25 – July 5 from noon until midnight daily
