Cream City Soundcheck announced today the release of its new music documentary featuring the band Kane Place Record Club.

Cream City Soundcheck, in collaboration with the Pabst Theater's organization, allows UWM film students the opportunity to learn professional documentary skills through practical application. The group seeks to create videos capturing bands performing at historic Milwaukee venues as well as exploring the local color.

The video premiering today shows Kane Place Record Club attending the 2012 Tomato Romp, sampling Bloody Marys around the East Side, participating in a tomato-throwing fight and taking the stage for the first time ever at the historic Turner Hall Ballroom.

Cream City Soundcheck will release new videos every month. Upcoming subjects include The Fatty Acids, R.A.S. Movement, Allen Stone, Blessed Feathers and Field Report.
