For the first time since the passing of founding member and front man Glenn Frey in 2016, legendary country-rockers The Eagles return to Milwaukee on Thursday, Oct. 18 to perform at the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (WESC).

Tickets for "An Evening with the Eagles" go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here.

Sadly, the release announcing the concert didn’t even mention Frey, who founded the band with drummer Don Henley in 1970 and sang lead on many of the band's hits.

The current Eagles lineup includes Henley, longtime members Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt, along with country star Vince Gill and Frey’s son Deacon.

The six-time Grammy-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band’s most recent Milwaukee performance was at Summerfest in 2013.

"We’re excited to welcome one of the all-time legendary rock bands to Milwaukee and the WESC in October," said WESC General Manager and Head of Programming Raj Saha.

The Eagles are the seventh major entertainment act announced to be coming to the WESC. Also performing are Kevin Hart on Sept. 13, Maroon 5 on Sept. 16, Justin Timberlake on Sept. 21, Jim Gaffigan on Sept. 22, Foo Fighters on Oct. 17 and Elton John on Feb. 19, 2019.
