Check out the two part Eagles documentary in heavy rotation on Showtime to learn how the band's popularity has endured over the past forty years, despite a fourteen year breakup from 1980-1994. It's worth it, if only to chuckle over the guys '70's "fashions", hairstyles and floppy mustaches. But seriously, this band provided the soundtrack to my high school and early college years, and re- hearing their songs in the movie left me feeling wistful for that era when rock radio ruled! Rumor has it the band will incorporate some of the movie footage in upcoming concert performances.
