The Gufs celebrate the release of a new album on Friday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. at The Pabst Theater. The evening's performance will be filmed for the future release of a Gufs' live DVD. Opening the show are Northern Room and Bascom Hill.
Following a seven-year hiatus, The Gufs reunited earlier this year to work on a seventh studio recording and played to a full Mountain Dew Rock Stage on July 1 at Summerfest.
The band plays the Double Door in Chicago on Oct. 5 and will travel to Madison, after its Pabst gig, to play the Barrymore Theatre on Sat., Oct. 7.
General admission tickets go on sale Fri., Aug. 11 at noon for $23.50 at The Pabst Theater box office, on the Web at pabsttheater.org and tickets.com, or by calling (414) 286-3663 or (800) 511-1552.
