Johnson Controls and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. have entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement beginning this year with Summerfest 2013.

The sponsorship grants Johnson Controls naming and promotional rights to the Mid Gate stage that was previously sponsored by Potawatomi Bingo Casino. The stage will feature an eclectic line-up consisting of many different genres, including R&B, blues, world beat and soul.

The musical acts for the stage will be announced in the coming months.

The partnership will also allow Johnson Controls the ability to consult with Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and aide in the effort to improve the efficiencies of the stage and event operations at the festival park.

Johnson Controls will also once again present the popular admission promotion, Johnson Controls Stomp Out Hunger Day with FOX 6 for Wednesday, June 26 from noon to 3 p.m. All Summerfest attendees who donate three non-perishable food items will receive one free admission ticket.
