Earlier today, Secret Canadian announced the new Damien Jurado record, saying "Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son" will be out this January.

While I know that will be of interest to many Milwaukee music fans, an even wider Brew City audience will be interested in the record's cover, which features one of the three Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory domes!

There are similar domes out there – like the Climatron at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, but photographic evidence suggests Jurado's dome is definitely one of Milwaukee's.

And Milwaukee designer Daniel Murphy, who created the cover, confirms it.

"Damien wanted to use a dome in the art, and I didn't need to look far," Murphy told me in a tweet.

Score another one for Milwaukee County Parks!
