Mary Karlzen, Rachael Sage and Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles play Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Grain Exchange Room, 225 E. Michigan St.
The show, organized by WUWM is the station's first "Listener Appreciation" concert.
Karlzen, who moved to Milwaukee a few years back, needs no introduction, having toured with Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown and The Indigo Girls and having collaborated locally with Kevin Brandt.
Pianist Sage is a New Yorker whose latest disc, "The Blistering Sun," ought not be confused with a Violent Femmes tune. She has shared stages recently with ni DiFranco, Sheryl Crow and Liz Phair.
Boston alt.country singer Borges brings her band Broken Singles to town on the heels of their second disc, "Diamonds in the Dark.
General admission tickets are $15 and go on sale Monday, July 30 at noon at The Pabst Theater box office, on the web atwww.pabsttheater.org and www.tickets.com, or by calling (414) 286-3663 or (800) 511-1552.
