In the course of his 40-year career (yes, he was writing music in the '60s, albeit for other people), Willie Nelson's done it all: singer, songwriter, bandleader -- he even made the occasional film cameo. Emerging in the mid-'70s as a spearhead of the outlaw country movement, Nelson is still considered today as one of the most versatile, enduring and influential talents in late 20th-century country music.
Nelson just keeps on truckin' and now he's co-headlining "The Last of the Breed" tour with buddies Merle Haggard and Ray Price, and special guest Asleep at the Wheel. The posse moseys on through Milwaukee on Saturday, March 24 at the Riverside Theater.
You can lasso yourself a ticket or two starting Jan. 26 at noon at the Riverside Theater Box Office, online at riversidetheater.org and tickets.com, or by calling (414) 286-3663 or (800) 511-1552. This one's gonna set you back $50 or $80, with special limited Gold Circle seating available for $125.
