It's the last week of March and another spring is in the air. You know what else is in the air? Lots and lots of Milwaukee music ready to be ingested. Let WMSE's Brent Gohde and I break down your weekend for you in this edition of our Local Music Podcast.

Now and Never Again, which features two ex-members of The Panic, has yet to release an official body of work, although it played live on WMSE last year, enabling us to give you a sample of what you'd be getting yourself into should you find yourself at the Cactus Club this Saturday, March 31. Now and Never Again plays with Vega Star, The Four Hundred and Revolving Doors.

Although we've been babbling about Plexi 3 for weeks now, this is our first time actually playing the band on our podcast. You can hear a track from when the threesome played live on WMSE a couple weeks ago and then go check out the dance party for yourself at The Mad Planet this Sunday night, April 1. The Black Lips and Goodnight Loving also play.

Our apologies if we've played "She Helps Me Celebrate" by The Nice Outfit before on one of our previous podcasts, but can you really have too much of a good thing? The band's playing out this Saturday, March 31 at Points East Pub with The Nelsonics and The Singles.

Made up of former members of Johnny Toymaker and Subside, The Missing is a high- energy pop punk band that is slated to be apart of Circle-A Café's "binge party weekends" this Friday, March 30. Rocket Boy 55 and Pillow Fight round out the Live at Eight show. Please enjoy "Down" by The Missing.

And the ever elusive fifth band of the podcast is Zaster Master Blaster with a track called "Tear it Apart and Put it Back Together." You can catch the band opening for Scarring Party at The Mad Planet this Saturday night with Clementine and Light Pollution.
