It's never too early to think summer.  Summerfest officials clearly believe this as the festival has announced the first show slated for Summerfest 2010.

Tim McGraw headlines the Marcus Amphitheater on opening night, Thursday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Bon Jovi opened Summerfest 2009.

The "Southern Voice" tour is in support of McGraw's first studio album in two and a half years, following "Let It Go," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in April 2007.  McGraw last played Summerfest on July 3, 2008.  Jason Aldean and Halfway to Hazard opened that show.

Joining McGraw on tour is country pop trio Lady Antebellum, the Best New Artist winners from both the ACM and the CMA awards in 2008. Lady Antelbellum opened for Kenny Chesney at Summerfest 2009.

Love and Theft will open the 7:30 p.m. show. Their debut album, "World Wide Open," recently opened on the Top 10 of the country albums chart and the band's hit single "Runaway" claimed the biggest first week of digital single sales for any debut country act this year.

The on-sale date and ticket prices for this show will be announced in the near future.  Summerfest 2010 takes place June 24-July 4 from noon until midnight daily.
