Well, that lasted longer than expected.

After retiring with one "final" tour in 2014-15 – complete with an official signed  "cessation of touring agreement" – Mötley Crüe is back together and back on the road for "The Stadium Tour," making a stop at Miller Park on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with tour co-headliners and fellow '80s rock legends Def Leppard, plus special guests Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

So I guess with all of that we can't be too mad.

"We’re pleased to welcome 'The Stadium Tour' to Miller Park," said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, in a release. "This promises to be an unforgettable show headlined by four of the most successful bands in rock."

Mötley Crüe last performed in Milwaukee in 2015 for a bonus stop on their "final" tour at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, while Def Leppard last played in Brew City in 2018, teaming up with Journey for a Summerfest headliner gig

Tickets for "The Stadium Tour" stop at Miller Park will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at brewers.com/rock, by calling (414) 902-4000 or by visiting the Miller Park box office. However, there will also be a presale for Citi cardmembers, starting at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 10 through Thursday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
