If you're a Neil Diamond fan, the next paragraph should make you feel like good times never seemed so good.

This morning, the legendary "Sweet Caroline" singer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer announced the dates for his upcoming Neil Diamond World Tour, including a stop at the BMO Harris Bradley Center – and probably Leon's – for a show on April 9, 2015. The performance marks Diamond's first visit to Milwaukee since he closed Summerfest back in 2012.

The show is expected to feature songs from his upcoming album "Melody Road," coming out on Oct. 21. The record marks his first since 2010's "Dreams," as well as his first album of original music since 2008's "Home Before Dark." It's a safe assumption, however, that the hits will make an appearance as well – or at least "Sweet Caroline" if simply to avoid riots.

Tickets for the show go on sale Monday, Oct. 13 beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster either online, in various Wal-Mart outlets or by phone (1-800-745-3000), or in person at the BMO Harris Bradley Center ticket office at the corner of 4th and Highland.
