Area band Paris, Texas released its New Line Records disc, "Like You Like an Arsonist," on July 13. The CD was begun at Madison's Smart Studios, where Garbage and Nirvana -- among others -- have recorded and where a car smashed through the wall just hours after the band left the room.
But PTX also chose to record some of the disc here in Milwaukee at Bionic Studios, originally set up by the now defunct Citizen King, with former C.K. guitarist Kristian Riley and Justin Engel, who has served as Bionic engineer since the studio's inception.
Stay tuned to OMC for a full-length feature on Paris, Texas and "Like You Like an Arsonist."
