"Available Light," the fifth record (he also has one live disc, 2003's "High Wire Live") from Milwaukee singer/songwriter Willy Porter hits stores and the Web on Sept. 12. The disc's title track is a song that Porter has been playing live for years.

Porter launches the disc with a string of Wisconsin concerts beginning Oct. 13 at the Pabst Theater. He'll play the Barrymore Theater in Madison on Oct. 14 and The Meyer Theatre in Green Bay on Oct. 15.

The Oct. 13 Pabst show is a $15 show with the acoustic blues of Rory Black opening. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 25.
