River Rhythms announces its 2011 summer line-up

Live acts for the Westown Association's free concert series are lined up and ready for summer.

The 2011 River Rhythms series begins June 8 and offers new music every Wednesday through Aug. 31. Concerts run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Pere Marquette Park.

There's no charge for River Rhythms performances, but proceeds from on-site wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverage and food sales will help support the family-friendly series.

Carry-ins, including alcohol, are allowed.

The 2011 River Rhythms line-up:
