Drew 106: Tell me everything a DJ does other than SELECT and PUT records on a turntable. I'm assuming you're a DJ or a big fan of disc jockeys?

RE: Z_Boy- And I suppose a musician just strums their guitar and a singer just exhales noise. Dj's don't just play albums you fool.

What a club DJ does is far different than what a radio DJ does. While Rock Dee did have a gig on 88.9, he had a long history and career in the local club DJ scene. That's why all these DJ's are coming together, to pay respect. Your assertion that DJ's just play records is akin to saying that chefs warm up food. While it is true that chefs do warm food, they also construct the flavors in a dope fresh way. Respect.
