Today brings a new concert announcement – and man, it's a hot one. Iconic guitarist Santana and famed funk heroes Earth, Wind & Fire will take the American Family Insurance Amphitheater stage on, no, not the 21st night of September but on Sunday, July 12.

The show comes as a part of the duo's "Miraculous Supernatural" North American tour, combining two beloved music acts that have, added together, played for rapt audiences for more than a century; created timeless hits like "September," "Smooth," "Let's Groove" and "Maria Maria"; and won a combined total of 16 Grammy awards, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year for Santana in 2000 as well as a Lifetime Achievement award for Earth, Wind & Fire in 2016.

Tickets for the post-Summerfest show will go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Amp box office as well as at LiveNation.ccom. However, there will also be a presale for Citi cardmembers running from noon on Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Thursday, Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. For more information on the presale, visit Citi Entertainment's website.

Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more summer concert announcements.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
