Tom Petty to headline Summerfest

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, June 28, Summerfest officials announced today.

The performance will be the bands's 13th headlining appearance at the Marcus Amphitheater since 1989.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m. and include Summerfest admission. They can be purchased at the Summerfest box office, Ticketmaster, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or (866) 448-7849 ("Ticketmaster Express" automated phone line).

Summerfest will be held at the Henry Maier Festival Park June 26-30 and July 2-7.
