The winners and nominees of the 35th annual Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards will be saluted, alongside a remarkable slate of special Hall of Fame honorees, at the upcoming Awards Show returning to Milwaukee on Apr. 19 at Turner Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

"We’re thrilled and honored to bring the WAMI Awards Show back to Turner Hall this year," Zoy Begos, newly-elected WAMI president, said. "Turner’s mission as a venue to showcase and support established and emerging artists is the perfect fit for our ongoing goal of honoring Wisconsin artists and their accomplishments."

In addition to presenting awards in over 30 categories the show will feature a variety of live music performances and a salute to three Hall of Fame honorees.

A complete list of nominees will be posted on WAMI's website in late February. General admission tickets are $35, $15 for students, $59.99 VIP single and $99.99 VIP couple. Tickets will be on sale on Feb. 6 at the Turner Hall box office or here

WAMI is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to educate and recognize the achievements and accomplishments of individuals in the Wisconsin music industry. The group also utilizes its fund to provide a Youth Music Showcase and provide scholarships to students and emerging artists.
