Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that The Wreckers and Emerson Drive come to town for a pre-game Admirals concert on Sat., Jan. 27. The Ads skate against the Peoria Rivermen at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts are free for fans with the purchase of their game ticket.
The Wreckers, a duo composed of Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, are riding high on their first record "Stand Still, Look Pretty." The lead single on the album, "Leave the Pieces," made it to number one on the Hot Country Chart. They've toured with Gavin DeGraw, Tyler Hilton and Bethany Loy Lenz.
Emerson Drive received the 2002 Billboard Music Award for New Country Artist of the Year and two of their hits from its self-titled first album, "I Should Be Sleeping" and "Fall Into Me" have both cracked the Top Five on the Country Music Charts. "A Good Man," the first released track off the most recent album, "Countrified," currently sits at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Top 25.
Emerson Drive is scheduled to take the stage at 5 p.m. and will perform for approximately 50 minutes before The Wreckers hit the stage at 6 p.m.
