Don't let the name fool you. The Pontiac Blues Band is not your ordinary Blues bar band. The members of this band collectively bring some 100 years of experience in Soul, Jazz, Funk, Rock and yes, Blues.

Introduced in 1985, the Pontiac Blues Band began as a musical outlet for friends looking to recreate the Chicago feel. After sixteen years of consistent gigging, the sound has morphed into a totally unique blend of everything soulful. Cover tunes include original arrangements of danceable, crowd-pleasing favorites from the likes of Sam & Dave, Ray Charles, BB King, Wilson Picket, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf while the original tunes combine the elements of Jazz, Gospel, Rock, Funk and Swing.
