The 33rd annual Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards were held last night at Turner Hall Ballroom, honoring this year's top musicians and industry notables in the state. See the winners here.
27. My guess for the date of the McCartney gig at Miller Park
As more Paul McCartney dates are announced it becomes (theoretically) easier to predict when his Miller Park concert - expected to be made public in a Monday morning announcement - will take place.
28. Paul McCartney to play Miller Park
Paul McCartney will return to Milwaukee after nearly a decade to play Miller Park sometime this summer.
29. Expect brutal honesty from Blue October's frontman
Blue October frontman Justin Furstenfeld is on tour promoting his book of lyrics and writings called "Crazy Making." The book explains what's behind many of Blue October's songs. He also has a Q&A session during the show allowing fans to ask him anything they want.
30. Record Store Day means deals, giveaways at Exclusive Co.
Lovers of vinyl will have the chance to celebrate the sixth annual Record Store Day on April 20 at The Exclusive Company.
31. Summerfest announces more concerts, new Fest Flag program
Summerfest announced seven additional Grounds Stage Headliners including Matt & Kim, ZZ Ward, The Go-Go's, Cold War Kids, 311, Talib Kwelil and Courtyard Hounds. Also announced was a new ticket giveaway called Fest Flag that will provide $1 million in tickets to fest fans.
32. State Fair announces final six shows
The Wisconsin State Fair announced its final six shows for this year's lineup at the Main Stage presented by Potawatomi Bingo Casino today.
33. Summerfest announces Avett Brothers, grounds stages headliners
Summerfest made a few big announcements today, revealing that the Avett Brothers will co-headline with the already-announced Violent Femmes at the Marcus Amphitheater on Opening Day, June 26. Officials also announced headliners for the grounds stages.
34. May 2 Foster Fest fetes two years of Hotel Foster
Milwaukee will get the chance to celebrate Hotel Foster's second birthday with Foster Fest 2013, a four-day musical festival beginning on May 2.
35. Summerfest announces Pitbull, Luke Bryan gigs; Cooper also on tap
Summerfest has announced two more headliners for 2013. Rapper Pitbull will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, June 30. Country artist Luke Bryan headline the amphitheater on Wednesday, July 3 with special guests Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line. Alice Cooper will also play at the Big Gig.
36. Performance lineup announced for Live @ Peck Pavilion 2013
The 2013 lineup for the Live @ Peck Pavilion series in Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion has been announced.
37. Violent Femmes kick off Summerfest 2013
The Violent Femmes revealed on their tour schedule that they will be headlining the Marcus Amphitheater on June 26. Summerfest has not made an official announcement yet.
38. Five questions for Chasing Mars
Good things are happening for Chicago-based electro rock/synth pop band Chasing Mars. Their sound is reaching a whole new audience with the release of their self-produced album, and they're embarking on their first big tour with a stop in Milwaukee on Sunday, March 24.
39. WAMI announces Hall of Fame inductees
The 2013 inductees into the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Hall of Fame have been announced.
40. John Mayer Summerfest concert announced
John Mayer announced his first major tour in three years and it will kick off on Saturday, July 6 at Summerfest.

41. Homophobic Shocked still scheduled to play Madison
After singer Michelle Shocked went on an anti-gay ramble during a show in San Francisco of all places on Sunday, every venue canceled her tour dates - including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The Harmony Bar & Grill in Madison is the only venue that has not canceled on Shock.
42. The Eagles to close out Summerfest
The Eagles have been added to the growing list of Summerfest 2013 headliners. Officials announced today that the group will close out the Big Gig on Sunday, July 7.
43. Summer Sizzle goes on hiatus
The Historic Third Ward Jazz Festival: Summer Sizzle, hosted by the Historic Third Ward Association, Inc., will not take place this year.
44. Emmylou lets her hair down
The crowd at The Pabst Theater knew they were seeing something rare, a gem of a band, a star who usually maintains her well-deserved place center stage, letting her hair down and sharing a little of the limelight. Make no mistake about, in any sane country in the world, Emmylou Harris would be considered a national treasure and all her experiments are worth catching.
45. P!nk coming to BMO Harris Bradley Center
It was announced today that punk-rock superstar P!nk will be performing at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Nov. 3.
46. Bonham brings Led Zeppelin Experience to State Fair
It was announced today that Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience has been added to the Wisconsin State Fair's opening night, Aug. 1.
47. It's official: RadioMilwaukee is moving
In November, OnMilwaukee.com reported that 88Nine Radio Milwaukee (88.9 FM) would most likely move to a new location in the Fifth Ward and it was officially announced today that it will happen. A new Stone Creek Cafe will open on the ground floor.
48. Break into the Big Gig is back
The flurries are flying and it's hard to picture ourselves with a beer at the Big Gig, but the folks at Milwaukee World Festival are working at fever pitch on Summerfest and so is Roy Henning, who has organized an annual battle of the bands competition that leads to a performance at Summerfest for the past eight years.
49. Hallelujah, Leonard, I'm your man!
I was a lukewarm Leonard Cohen fan until last night, but now I'm close to red hot. I always respected the man's work, chuckled at a few of his best lines and adored, along with generations of Americans, his song "Hallelujah."
50. Jam for Jamaica announces line-up
The fourth annual Jam for Jamaica Music and Camping Festival will be held May 16-19 in Sullivan. Almost 40 musical acts spanning a wide variety of genres and styles have been announced to headline the event, says event founder Craig Baumann.
